Cherry 3336 – 3340
Price per slab: £120 inc VATPrunus avium
Cherry is a premium hardwood prized for its superior workability and silky texture in carpentry and cabinetmaking.
The heartwood ranges from light pinkish-brown to deep reddish tones, darkening beautifully with age to deep-red patina, contrasted by pale sapwood. It has a fine, straight, and uniform grain with a smooth, satiny texture.
Cherry is highly workable, machining and sanding with ease while taking oils and finishes evenly. Wonderful choice for high-quality furniture, dining tables, and interior feature pieces, offering a warm, lived-in and sophisticated finish.
